Design by Suzanne Rose as principal architect of Suzanne & Critters, Austin, Texas ... The structure was originally built for Suzanne as a storage structure on skids with a tow bar to jack it onto a trailer for mobility. As chickens were added to Suzanne's gamut of critters, windows were added to the sidewalls and the chicken coup was attached to one window. Suzanne enjoys the space and likes to spend quality time with all of her critters, electricity was run to the cottage and a futon, dvr (Suzanne and the chickens mostly watch "The Sound of Music" or "Monty Python") and ac window unit were added. Shelving still provides for storage. This is just one example of the versatility of outbuildings. She has also designed a tree house complete with plumbing and electricity for a client, whose son wanted his own private space.
